Our Mission

The mission statement for North Central Kansas CASA, the umbrella agency for Hope's Place Child Advocacy Center, is to improve the quality of children's lives and strengthen families through education, support and advocacy.  


The Child Advocacy Center strives to provide quality intervention, investigation and prosecution.

The CASA network is the nation's leading volunteer program serving abused and neglected children.

Volunteers

 CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in court and other settings.  


A CASA gives the child voice in their case.  Our CASA's stay with the child the duration of the case which could be a few months to over three years.

A Court Appointed  Special Advocate (CASA) are everyday people from a variety of backgrounds, who share the desire to care for some of the most vulnerable children in their communities.

A CASA has 30 hours of training, gets a couple court hearings and has a trained staff member to assist them.  


Training is flexible and can be done in person or remotely.
